The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary is coming up soon on October 1. To celebrate, Disney is throwing an 18-month party called “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”. We have been eagerly waiting to hear all the news. Today, a lineup of WDW 50th Anniversary merch was finally revealed! Select items will be available as early as August 12, but most of the merchandise will be released in October and November. It includes everything from ears and bags to clothes and decor. All items will be available at the theme parks, as well as Disney Springs. Select items will also be available for purchase at some Disney Resort hotels and on shopDisney.com.
Limited-Time Merchandise – Available August 12, 2021
A special pre-celebration line of products will be available beginning August 12, 2021. This must-have collection features limited-time items, perfect for guests who visit Walt Disney World before the official 50th Anniversary festivities begin. If you’re an Annual Passholder, make sure to check out the special long-sleeve T-shirt exclusively for you.
Celebration Collection – Early October 2021
The Celebration Collection will include an assortment of commemorative merchandise for the whole family. From accessories by Dooney and Bourke and festive headwear to coordinating mommy-and-me ensembles and a soap dispenser. Perfect for mixing and matching, the collection will feature fashionable clothing and outerwear,
Disney Castle Collection – Early October 2021
Drawing inspiration from the iconic Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park, the Disney Castle Collection will feature everything from collectibles to castle-inspired attire. Some items included are collectable ornaments, the castle-themed mug and, of course, the light-up Minnie Mouse ear headband!
Vault Collection – Early October 2021
Disney fans and those who love all things vintage will be eager to unlock the Vault Collection, paying tribute to 50 years of Walt Disney World magic with an assortment of retro-themed designs right out of the Walt Disney Archives. The collection includes classic opening day favorites such as the original Walt Disney World Mickey Mouse ear hat design, throwback T-shirt styles and nostalgic accessories. Additional Vault Collection items will be released throughout the 18-month long celebration.
EARidescent Collection – Late October 2021
You may have noticed the new EARidescent décor on Cinderella Castle, and you will soon see more of it around Walt Disney World Resort in honor of the 50th anniversary. The latest color collection, which will debut in late October, is themed to match the EARidescent celebration and features everything from a mini-backpack by Loungefly and a Spirit Jersey to a set of sparkling Minnie ears.
Luxe Logo Collection – November 2021
Check back for the reveal of details on the Luxe Logo Collection that will make its debut in November. As the name implies, this collection will offer a range of upscale pieces for the Disney collector. More details will be revealed closer to its release date.
